SCHOENBURG [shown-berg] is an American folk/pop trio consisting of Billy Schoenburg, Dane Hoppe, and Graham Wakeman. Hailing from Illinois and Michigan, Schoenburg met both Hoppe and Wakeman while attending school in the Twin Cities. With Folk Pop melodies and lyrics reminiscent of Paul Simon, Schoenburg's songwriting asks that you not worry, while Wakeman and Hoppe’s arrangements and performances agree. Currently, their debut EP, “Short, but Sweet” is set for release on March 2nd, 2012, with their debut album, “Hydrophobia & Identity Insecurities”, scheduled for release on July 4th, 2012. When John Mark Nelson released his first CD, "Still Here", he was half way through his senior year in high school. "Still Here" was a collection of songs about a sixteen month period of his life. A time in which "everything seemed surreal and hazy". According to John Mark, he "became a very unpleasant person to be around, and yet (he) was the happiest (he) had ever been".
