John Mark Nelson
From Minneapolis
First show since since August 1, 2012 • First Entry show • Third show on MN Live's calendar since June 14, 2012
From last.fm:
When John Mark Nelson released his first CD, "Still Here", he was half way through his senior year in high school. "Still Here" was a collection of songs about a sixteen month period of his life. A time in which "everything seemed surreal and hazy". According to John Mark, he "became a very unpleasant person to be around, and yet (he) was the happiest (he) had ever been". It is an album about loss and regretful decisions. Read more about John Mark Nelson on Last.fm.

Husky
From Melbourne, Australia
Only Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar
From last.fm:
There are at least five bands named "Husky": 1. A rock band from Australia 2. A downtempo duo from Poland 3. A rock band from the United States 4. An indie rock band from Mexico 5. A bass music producer 1) You probably haven’t heard of Husky before now. That’s because compared to most young musicians operating in this era of uninterrupted connectivity and non-stop self-promotion, the Australian quartet might as well have crafted their debut full-length somewhere atop the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.
