Secret Cities
From Fargo, North Dakota
First Twin Cities show since since June 21, 2011 • Fourth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since June 11, 2010
From last.fm:
Secret Cities hail from Fargo, North Dakota and formed in 2002. MJ Parker and Charlie Gokey were barely 15 when they met at band camp, but a shared love of psychedelia and scads of secret, unheard songs between them drew the pair together. They passed cassettes back and forth across the tundra of their home state, each manipulating and adding to the other's work via 4-track. Slowly they built up a catalog of sound collage and darkly romantic pop. Read more about Secret Cities on Last.fm.
General B and the Wiz
From Minnesota
First Twin Cities show since since August 10, 2012 • First Entry show since December 31, 2011 • Fifth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since December 31, 2011
From last.fm:
General B and The Wiz are an adventurous band collectively out of Decorah, IA, Minneapolis, MN, and Eagle River Alaska. By stretching rock to its very limits, they put on a live show with the energy of an electric storm and the power of a hurricane. With blues based groove guitar, power bass lines, gritty vocals, and drum fills that will burst your lungs, they strive to make music as enjoyable for an audience as it is for themselves. Their original music varies from groove rock Read more on Last.fm

Panther Ray
From St Paul
First show since since June 17, 2012 • First Entry show • First show supporting a touring headliner
From last.fm:
Barely out of their teens, Panther Ray's Joey Johnson, Evan Kramer, Daniel Ries, and Andy Rockwood are childhood friends floating in place in time where the weird underground recording geniuses of the 60s and the 90s share a meal. Apparently that place is somewhere in the outer limits of their hometown of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Instruments and vocal mics trade hands regularly as the four multi-instrumentalists celebrate a poly amorous cacophony of junk psychedelia, youth-powered garage rock, exuberant pop weirdness, and experimental studio wizardry.
