Seaming vast mountains and seas with soft melodies and organic rhythms, Daniel Paul Jorgensen’s fascination for electronic ambient music surfaces in his creation of Carinthia; a project titled after a southern province in Austria where he spent his childhood between valleys and hills. From last.fm:

The usual sounds brought to mind at the sight of a cityscape are typically loud, harsh, and overbearing. Roaring bus engines, rumbling trains on their tracks, and buzzing markets and cafes all amplify the sounds of people coming and going. These sounds create a constant, yet ever changing hum - a tune that can provide limitless resources for creative minds, but can also pummel the creative spirit. It is from this constant hum that We Are The Willows' Peter Miller conceptualized the tonal sound-scapes of his debut full-length, A Collection Of Sounds And Something Like The Plague. From last.fm:

Nestled in the tropical paradise of Minneapolis, Minnesota where men are God's among mortals; The Farewell Circuit has found a solid foothold in the music world. Incessant self produced releases mark the quintet's constant transformation and evolution as a band and as real people discovering themselves in this labyrinth we call life. Their music has been showcased as immature pop-rock in its early stages and has more recently developed into a powerful-mature sound of catchy guitar melodies, soft piano lines, aggressive percussion all tied together with the graceful vocals of Danny O'Brien.
