Burbank, CA-born singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Apryl Electra grew up in Minneapolis, MN. Heavily influenced by late-70s soft rock along with early-80s new wave and pop, she began writing music at age 6. Her influences grew throughout the 90s when her dream was to become a Fly Girl on the show In Living Color. When the show ended in 1994 she threw herself into a life of music. She became obsessed with early and mid-90s alternative acts such as Blur, Lush, The Sundays, Nirvana, Bjork, Aimee Mann, Elastica, Hole, Massive Attack, Liz Phair, and Radiohead. Dan Israel is a singer-songwriter currently based in Minneapolis. He won Song of the Year (for "Come to Me") at the 2005 Minnesota Music Awards. In the late '80s and early '90s, he was one-half of the folk duo One Town Horse in Chicago. In the mid '90s, he fronted the Austin, TX folk-rock group Potter's Field (where he was named one of Austin's top 15 songwriters). In 1996, he moved to Minneapolis, where he formed Dan Israel and the Cultivators, releasing several CDs, both solo and with the Cultivators. Dan Israel on Last.fm.

The LP was mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC by Chris Athens (Coldplay, Beastie Boys, NERD, etc) and features collaborations with Dan Wilson (Adele, Semisonic) and Jon Auer who also lends vocals to several tracks.
