There are more then one artist by this name: 1) The Infidels was a power pop group from Youngstown, Ohio. Pete Repear, John Dillinger, Ken Laverty, David Lisko, and Frank Secich. They had a dense, guitar driven sound similar to early R.E.M. EDIT by BabaOriley: The original Infidels are from Youngstown, Ohio. The band started one day in late June 1982, when a virtual inseparable pair of 15 year olds, John Hlumyk and Pete Drivere, decided to start the first and (arguably) the last punk rock band in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.
