They are five men with a passion for metal and having a great time. Their music is a mix of thrash and death with a hint of pregressive tossed in. The band can boast of having two of the best guitarists you will ever hear, just listen to the tracks "Beyond The Mirror" and "Two Dimensions" from their debut "Throw The Switch" to see what I mean. There are more then one artist by this name: 1) The Infidels was a power pop group from Youngstown, Ohio. Pete Repear, John Dillinger, Ken Laverty, David Lisko, and Frank Secich. They had a dense, guitar driven sound similar to early R.E.M. EDIT by BabaOriley: The original Infidels are from Youngstown, Ohio. The band started one day in late June 1982, when a virtual inseparable pair of 15 year olds, John Hlumyk and Pete Drivere, decided to start the first and (arguably) the last punk rock band in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.
