Crown Point is an alt/pop band from Portland, OR. Featuring two lead singers, Crown Point's music is noted for its harmonies, meaningful lyrics, and pop sensibility. Formed in early 2010, the band has played events such as SXSW, MusicFest NW, Cornerstone, and the Alaska State Fair and toured in 40 states. The band completed a 2-month nationwide tour with Tyrone Wells and Andrew Belle in the fall of 2010 in support of their debut EP, Wolves. Brynn Andre is a Minneapolis singer/songwriter. Originally from Western North Dakota, Andre brings a confessional and often heart-wrenching touch to her music. Andre’s voice is solid, with stylings akin to Missy Higgins and Vanessa Carlton, but her greatest strength is in the songwriting. Andre knows who she’s singing to and nails the target head-on, and while her confessional pop sound is far from feel-good and sugary, her lyrics line up nicely with a well-executed percussive piano melody.
