Big Lake is a 5-piece indie-rock outfit out of Minneapolis, MN. Formed in the fall of 2009 by songwriter Patrick Mazurek and drummer Michael Gunvalson. Followed by the additions of bassist, Jordan Leininger, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Eben Stine and guitar player Eric Carlson. Big Lake released their debut "January Second Election" EP in July of 2011 and Followed with the "Delaware" EP in August. They are set to release a full length in the summer of 2012. Brynn Andre is a Minneapolis singer/songwriter. Originally from Western North Dakota, Andre brings a confessional and often heart-wrenching touch to her music. Andre’s voice is solid, with stylings akin to Missy Higgins and Vanessa Carlton, but her greatest strength is in the songwriting. Andre knows who she’s singing to and nails the target head-on, and while her confessional pop sound is far from feel-good and sugary, her lyrics line up nicely with a well-executed percussive piano melody.
