All the Pretty Horses is a dark glam/metal band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and fronted by transgendered lead singer Venus de Mars. The band has seen a varying lineup over its long history, perhaps most notably with fellow transgendered bandmates Tempest and Jendeen. The band briefly disbanded in 2006 so that each member could follow separate musical career paths. Venus De Mars pursued a solo career, releasing one album, Trashed and Broken Hearted. Laurie Lindeen was the singer and guitarist for all-female Minneapolis rock trio Zuzu's Petals. Signed to TwinTone Records they released two well-received albums in the early 90s, When No One's Looking and Music Of Your Life. After the band split in the mid 90s she married fellow Minneapolis musician Paul Westerberg, formerly of The Replacements, and made one last foray into music with the solo EP A Pregnant Pause in 1998.
