There are two bands called The Slow Death. 1) The Slow Death is a melodic death doom metal band from Blue Mountains, Australia with both male and female vocals, formed by Stuart Prickett (mastermind of Elysium and Stone Wings) in 2007. Their style is ultra slow death/doom with melodic riffs, powerful deep growls, grandiose female vocals and tragical lyrics. The atmosphere is mournful and dark. They included guitarist Don Walls, guitarist Bob Boyd and bassist Curt Delaney. Promoting their retrospective CD, Bloodshot Revival proclaimed The Sundowners knew more than 15,000 songs, playing about 7,000 songs annually. 2.)
