The Phoenix Philosophy is an Electronic Rock band from Minneapolis, MN. The idea behind “the phoenix philosophy” applies to the band’s sonic evolution from a 4 piece rock band into a heavily electronic influenced duo consisting of Jesse Weber (vocals/keys/programming) and Stephanie Thorup (vocals/guitar/keys). Keeping the element of commanding guitars and introducing dueling male/female vocals over eerie synths creates a sonic blend of rock and electronic (pop) that matures and inspires with every release. Machine 22 is a 4 piece rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota that formed in June of 2009. The band consists of Jack Swagger (vocals/guitar), Nick Pelowski (bass), Ben Pelowski (guitar), and Karl Schmidt (drums). The band has become a force to be reckoned with in the Minneapolis scene, playing hundreds of shows and attracting a wide audience. Their debut LP, Off The Record, on DC-Jam Records on June 11th.
