Blood Root Mother is an American rock band from Buffalo, MN. The group was formed by Rob during his teenage years at Buffalo High School. The sound has evolved for about five years, and now it is simply five individuals with very diverse musical tastes, exploring our world of sound as only we can, and striving to stand on the shoulders of the greats. As John Coltrane said, "The main thing a musician would like to do is to give a picture to the listener of the many wonderful things he knows of and senses in the universe". One False Move was formed in late 2004, when guitarist Matt Salmon, drummer Pat Salmon, and bassist Pat Dwyer moved from Brick, NJ out to Hollywood California to attend Musicians Institute. There they found singer Andrew Williams, originally from Baton Rouge, LA. Things really started coming together in a small apartment on Grace Ave when the whole band lived under one roof. Since then, friendship and music has brought One False Move back to New Jersey in April of 06. Upon there return, they picked up a second guitar player, Mike Gurnari, to solidify the line-up.
