The Hush Sound
From Chicago, Illinois
First Twin Cities show since since December 17, 2005 • First Triple Rock show • First headlining show
From last.fm:
The Hush Sound is a pop quartet from Chicago, Illinois formed in 2004. Initially named "The Hush," the band changed their name to "The Hush Sound" when Geffen Records objected that their name was too similar to rapper Hush. The band consists of Bob Morris on vocals and guitar, Mike Leblanc on bass and vocals, Darren Wilson on drums and vocals, and Greta Salpeter on vocals and piano. Original bassist Chris Faller left the band in October 2008 in order to pursue other musical interests and was replaced by Mike LeBlanc, who had toured with them previously on their "Dance Across the Country Tour". John Mark Nelson
From Minneapolis
First show since since September 6, 2012 • First Triple Rock show • First show supporting a touring headliner • Sixth show on MN Live's calendar since June 14, 2012
From last.fm:
When John Mark Nelson released his first CD, "Still Here", he was half way through his senior year in high school. "Still Here" was a collection of songs about a sixteen month period of his life. A time in which "everything seemed surreal and hazy". According to John Mark, he "became a very unpleasant person to be around, and yet (he) was the happiest (he) had ever been". It is an album about loss and regretful decisions. Read more about John Mark Nelson on Last.fm.
