Minus the Bear are a group which formed in Seattle, Washington, United States in 2001 and have released four albums and four EPs. The band consists of Jake Snider (vocals, guitar), Dave Knudson (guitar), Cory Murchy (bass), Alex Rose (synths, vocals) and Erin Tate (drums). Foxy Shazam is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 2004. The band consists of lead vocalist Eric Nally, guitarist Loren Turner, pianist Sky White and bass player Daisy. After forming the band immediately recorded The Flamingo Trigger independently then committed to an extensive national touring regimen. Shortly there after Foxy signed with Ferret Records and recorded their second album Introducing Foxy Shazam which was produced by Casey Bates (Chiodos, Portugal. Motion City Soundtrack is a band which includes members Joshua Cain (guitar), Justin Pierre (vocals/guitar), Jesse Johnson (Moog), Matthew Taylor (bass), and Claudio Rivera (drums). Following their high-school graduation, Minneapolis, MN natives Pierre and Cain -- both of whom were inspired by Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbox, The Flaming Lips, and Superchunk -- formed the band in 1999. Take Cover formed in the fall of 2007 and hit the ground running. After a few months of writing, they entered the studio in the spring to record with their good friend and producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Motion City Soundtrack). Their debut self-titled EP was released that September and was followed by a first tour with Minnesota natives Sing It Loud (Epitaph Records) and You, Me and Everyone We Know (Doghouse Records).
