Four groups are known as The Murder of Crows: two from the USA, one Irish and another from the UK. 1. The Murder of Crows (Duluth, MN, USA) is the moniker used as of 2010 for the works by Duluthian residents Gaelynn Lea (violin, vocals, song-writing) and Alan Sparhawk (vocals, song-writing, guitar, technology). Alan is also known as solo artist but also for his work in Low and Retribution Gospel Choir. The songs are both experimental as ethereal in nature. Excuse Me Princess started as a creative channel for songwriter Jack Campbell, who played drums in the band Completely Random. Around summertime 2009, Campbell teamed up with Completely Random bassist Sam Wattrus, and the duo started recording Campbell’s accumulated songs and prepared to start gigging. On October 9th, 2009, Excuse Me Princess played their first “official” live show at the Acadia Café in Minneapolis with musical friends Courtney Yasmineh and Bill Mike.
