Tapes ‘n Tapes is an indie rock band which formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States in 2003. The band consists of Josh Grier (vocals, guitar), Matt Kretzmann (keyboards, horns), Erik Appelwick (bass, vocals) and Jeremy Hanson (drums). The band has released three albums, "The Loon" (2005), "Walk It Off" (2008) and "Outside" (2011). Oberhofer started in 2008 as the recording project of Brad Oberhofer. After moving from his native Tacoma, Washington to New York City, Oberhofer attended New York University to study music composition.[1] In the style of Jon Bon Jovi, the young singer adopted his own name as the title of the project.
