Party of One is the brainchild of a Mr. Eric Fifiteen who hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fifteen started the band in the mid 90's playing, writing, and engineering the majority of Party of One's discography from the last decade. Geoff McKusick, the band's original drummer and Joe Kary, bass, collaborated with Fifteen on most of the band's earlier recorded material. Drummer, Terrica Kleinknecht joined in 2000 to play bass with McKusick, on drums, and Fifteen focusing mainly on guitar, keys, trumpet and vocals. Read more about Party of One on Last.fm.
Awkward Bodies
From Minneapolis
First show since since April 10, 2012 • First Turf Club show • Third show on MN Live's calendar since March 22, 2012
From last.fm:
Awkward Bodies. The name itself feels so instantly relatable, expressing how most of us feel about ourselves. It’s confrontational, yet comforting. The Minneapolis four-piece have been called shoegazers, soul stompers, dream-poppers and heart stoppers. None of these descriptions are wrong, but they don’t fully encapsulate the sound of the group as heard live or on tape. So what’s so special about Awkward Bodies? Maybe it’s the way the influences and aesthetics the individual members bring to the band assemble to be something wholly different. Read more about Awkward Bodies on Last.fm.
