Doseone
From Oakland, California
First Twin Cities show since since February 24, 2005 • First Cedar show
From last.fm:
Adam Drucker (doseone) was born in Nampa, Idaho. A product of two well intentioned hippie parents whose extremely imagined relationship was unfortunately a half fusion of everything they had feared in their own mothers and fathers respectively. Needless to say the couple did not last, but the son of a one-time glass-blower managed with his ten-mile-a-minute wit, one of a kind voice, humor and imagination. Read more about Doseone on Last.fm.
Serengeti
From Chicago, Illinois
First Twin Cities show since since October 14, 2011
From last.fm:
Serengeti is a multidimensional artist that utilizes his eclectic versatility to create unconventional, political music deeply rooted in Hip Hop culture. The use of the title Serengeti is an artistic symbol of his conceptions, forged to mirror the dense lakes and jungles of the African landscape from which his name and lineage is derived. The Chicago-born talent makes music to invoke emotion and promote change, citing racial disharmony, political ostracism and personal conflict as inspiration. Read more about Serengeti on Last.fm.
Jel
From Berkeley, California
First Twin Cities show since since August 25, 2012 • First Cedar show
From last.fm:
He was but a young buck, wet behind the ears and not all that wise. But if Jeffery James Logan—Catholic-born Chicago son, one-time Chuck Berry enthusiast, junior high schooler— knew one thing, he knew that he needed to play the drums. If he knew another thing, it was that he wouldn’t get to, no matter how much angsty teen protest or sullen-eyed brooding he put into the cause, because, well, some jock kid was in better with the gym teacher.
