Archers of Loaf is an indie rock band which formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States in 1991 . The band consisted of Eric Bachmann (vocals, guitar), Eric Johnson (guitar), Matt Gentling (bass) and Mark Price (drums). The band released four albums before splitting in 1998. After the band's split, Bachmann moved onto multiple solo projects, including Barry Black and Crooked Fingers, and Gentling toured with Superchunk as an additional instrumentalist. NEW RELEASE: We Built a Fortress on Short Notice CD/LP street date tues, nov 6th, 2012 self-evident are signed to US label, doubleplusgood as well as Stiff Slack Records in Japan. In the time since their last release (2009’s Endings), Minneapolis trio Self-Evident have been busy touring. They spent a month playing shows throughout Europe, in addition to several US tours.
