From last.fm:

The Small Cities formed in 2007 in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The band began as a three- piece (Leif, David, and Jimmy), but quickly saw the need to bring others into the fold. They released their self-titled EP in 2008, which cracked the CMJ top 200 and saw the band opening for the likes of The Besnard Lakes and Ladyhawk. Since the release of the EP, they made some new friends, bought new amps, and turned them up. Read more about The Small Cities on Last.fm.

From last.fm:

Conscripted in 2008, Hunting Club takes aim with its debut self-titled LP. Drawing from a range of artists (Elliott Smith, the Pixies, Portishead and Prince) Hunting Club melts away the thick ice of Minnesota by creating a lush and highly orchestrated sound that bends the ear with drones of happiness and sadness. Brothers Kyle and Justin Steen grew up with fellow musician Bob Dubois in a sleepy Wisconsin town known more for agate rock than indie rock. Both brothers settled in St. Paul to pursue a higher education where they met Hunting Club frontman Eric Pasi. Read more about Hunting Club on Last.fm.

The Eastern Sea

From last.fm:

At times, it’s easy for The Eastern Sea to forget that Austin, Texas is home. While the band’s roots are firmly planted in the Texas Hill Country, their dynamic prose-pop travels from location to location, effortlessly moving between distant settings and their own, still somehow foreign, neighborhoods. Created in 2005 as the bedroom project of songwriter/vocalist Matthew Hines, The Eastern Sea quickly developed into a live band and released The Eastern Sea, a collection of two eponymous EPs, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The Farewell Circuit

First show since since July 16, 2010 • First Nick & Eddie show • 25th show on MN Live's calendar since April 15, 2007

From last.fm:

Nestled in the tropical paradise of Minneapolis, Minnesota where men are God's among mortals; The Farewell Circuit has found a solid foothold in the music world. Incessant self produced releases mark the quintet's constant transformation and evolution as a band and as real people discovering themselves in this labyrinth we call life. Their music has been showcased as immature pop-rock in its early stages and has more recently developed into a powerful-mature sound of catchy guitar melodies, soft piano lines, aggressive percussion all tied together with the graceful vocals of Danny O'Brien.
