Members Christy Hunt (Von Bondies, Ouija Radio) Arzu Gokcen (Selby Tigers), Jacques Wait (Twilight Hours, Iguano, Magnatone), Charles Gehr (Seawhores, Marijuana Deathsquads, Ouija Radio, Jazz Man's Needle, Mid Carson July) formed in January 2010. With no products available to the public at the time, this band became a regional interest due to live performances and song writing alone. Their eponymous debut album was released July 5, 2011. Seawhores have been active since 1996 with 15 albums, some on different labels with various locations around the country, some limited run presses on our own Here Than Anywhere label. We've taken an approach with music that has enabled us to work with many different musicians and subsequently, given us the ability to keep interested in the on going progress of keeping things fun.
