San Antonio’s Girl In A Coma have left a permanent tattoo on the hearts of thousands with their piercing songs and nuclear performances. They’ve blazed a singular trail since Nina Diaz joined the band at age 13 and have found champions and comrades along the way including Joan Jett who signed them, Morrissey, Sia, Tegan and Sara, The Pogues and Amanda Palmer who have hand selected them for tours. There are at least three bands named Hacienda. 1) House/Lounge Band from Germany Jürgen Kadel & Marcus Finger of Hacienda both hailed from the 1990s progressive house scene around Frankfurt and met at a party back in 1993. One year later they founded Hacienda. Hacienda’s debut album “Sunday Afternoons” on Harthouse in 1996 impressed a considerable number of people and received favorable reviews in Germany as well as in the UK and in the US.
