Jeremy used to play bass in V9R9D. Jack is used to playing drums in The Deaf. Dave Erb used to play guitar in Sicbay. The band came together about a year ago. Jeremy was looking to start a new project, while Jack was looking to play instrumental music. Auditioned a few cool peeps, but all in all Jeremy and Jack played just way too many notes and a connection could not be built with that third person. Until that third person ended up being Dave. Sleeping In Gethsemane is a technical post-rock band from Fargo, North Dakota. A three-piece of calculated, instrumental fury, SiG drive their point home with heavily melodic guitar-work, involved bass lines, and exacting drums with double-bass. Their sound can't easily be described, but they regularly fuse components of progressive rock, experimental, post-hardcore, math rock, ambient, as well as jazz. Hardcore Crayons are an instrumental trio from Minneapolis. Zozzled, their dpg debut & 3rd full length, showcases the band’s unique blend of math and post rock intertwined with elements of jazz & dub. It’s heavier and more layered than past releases due to a greater usage of guitar loops, keyboards, and noise elements. Dan Chizek’s atonal looping bursts on guitar combined with his delay drenched yelps act more like a 4th instrument than melody. All The Way Rider was formed in 2005 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by former Align member Jeremy Jessen on vocals/guitar, along with drummer Rocky De Vries, bassist Scott Walters, and guitarist Bill Collins. 2006 saw the release of their self-titled debut EP and later Lahuna in 2007. The band went on to become a trio with the departure of Bill Collins before they released the second full length album "The Eagle's Revenge" in 2008. Their sound can be best described as a mix of driving rock and dreamy atmospherics, bearing similarities to 90s post-hardcore and space rock. Read more about All The Way Rider on Last.fm.
