The Magic Castles are a psychedelic rock band which formed in 2006 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The band is the musical project of songwriter Jason Edmonds. The band has released three albums, "The Lore of Mysticore" (2008), "Dreams of Dreams of Dreams" (2009) and "Songs of the Forest" (2009) all of which are out of print. Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre signed the band to his imprint "A" Records in 2011 and their eponymous fourth record (a collection of previously released tunes) was released in 2012. The four-piece started out in 2004 and have since gone on to release four recordings and complete four national tours. There are/were three bands named Camden: 1. In the summer of 1998, longtime friends and bandmates William Seidel, Ryan Weber and Brian Zimmerman met with Eric Osterman and founded the Milwaukee band Camden. Soon after forming, Camden recorded their first EP with Chris Rosenau (Pele, Collections of Colonies of Bees, Telecognac, and Lumis) in the spring of 1999 and began touring in support of their self-titled EP with bands such as Pele, The Gloria Record and Antarctica.
