From http://www.thetwilighthours.com/index.php/bio/ ..... The Story of The Twilight Hours Experience eternity in a single song! A beautiful name, The Twilight Hours. And the music is ravishing. But who are these two men from Minneapolis? Can the hearts of John Munson and Matt Wilson be as pure as these songs we hear? No. These are two practical and desperate gentlemen who have scrubbed around in the underbrush of music long enough to have touched glory and to have been gored by humiliation. Read more on Last.fm

From last.fm:

Zoo Animal is a Minneapolis, MN band formed in January of 2008. It started from Holly Hansen’s (vocals, guitar) need for a bassist and drummer to perform her solo material. Long-time friend Tim Abramson obliged to play bass, and Al Swenson, a fellow community college student, agreed to play drums (Justin Korhonen has since become drummer) . As they played more, Holly became unsettled. They were playing material she wrote before the band and she felt a need and excitement to write songs specifically for this band to play, allowing them to pretty much shape their own parts. » More artist info on MN Live

From last.fm:

Minneapolis based Black Blondie is a band in the purest sense of the word: the tightly knit four-piece unit collectively writes and performs all of their music. Black Blondie's daring frontwoman, Samahra, has the attitude and charisma of a punk rock diva. She has a voice that would serve any American Idol three times over but lyrics that shock with wit and intellect. You may be reminded of the poetic confessions of a Midwestern emo boy who makes you wanna rip your heart out and cradle it in your hand... Read more about Black Blondie on Last.fm.

From last.fm:

The usual sounds brought to mind at the sight of a cityscape are typically loud, harsh, and overbearing. Roaring bus engines, rumbling trains on their tracks, and buzzing markets and cafes all amplify the sounds of people coming and going. These sounds create a constant, yet ever changing hum - a tune that can provide limitless resources for creative minds, but can also pummel the creative spirit. It is from this constant hum that We Are The Willows' Peter Miller conceptualized the tonal sound-scapes of his debut full-length, A Collection Of Sounds And Something Like The Plague.
