Kanser are a hip hop trio from Minnesota, USA, comprised of MCs New MC and Unicus and DJ Elusive. They have made multiple albums. The debut album Network, released in 1998 and only released on cassete, contains productions by Mesh and A.N.T from Atmosphere. The second album is called Innercity Outerspace from 1999, the third Quintessential is from 2001, It Wrote It Self was released 2003 and in 2005 they released Self-Titled. There are at least two artists with the name "The Last Word": a rock band and a 1970s funk band. In 1974 a few members of James Brown's band, including Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, James Brown and Maceo Parker, recorded a single with the two tracks "Keep On Bumpin' Before You Give Out Of Gas" and "Funky & Some", under the name "The Last Word".
