Dred I Dread is a Minneapolis, MN based Reggae and Hip Hop Band. The name Dred I Dread means “fear my dreadlocks”. Dred I Dread was formed in the Fall of 1998. Dred I Dread was chosen as "Best Local Reggae Band" by City Pages Magazine in 1999. The debut CD "Listen to the Revolution" was released in early March 1999. The CD was produced by International Reggae Keyboardist Tony “Asher” Brisset, one of the founding members of Black Uhuru. Kanser are a hip hop trio from Minnesota, USA, comprised of MCs New MC and Unicus and DJ Elusive. They have made multiple albums. The debut album Network, released in 1998 and only released on cassete, contains productions by Mesh and A.N.T from Atmosphere. The second album is called Innercity Outerspace from 1999, the third Quintessential is from 2001, It Wrote It Self was released 2003 and in 2005 they released Self-Titled.
