Instrumental Post-Rock. Bo.Monro is the project of guitarist / songwriter Sam Brown of Red Wing, MN. He has been writing instrumental guitar music since 2001. The name Bo.Monro originated from a combination of Sam's nickname "Bo" and "Monro" which is a name of significance in Sam's family. His great grandfather's name was Monro Brown. His grandfather, father and brother all have the middle name of Monro. He first began performing as "Bo.Monro" in October of 2005.
