From last.fm:

Mallman began playing the piano at 3 years old. “I found a severe magnetism in pounding my fists on the thing.” His live performances are an unforgettable experience; approaching the keyboard like an electric guitar, lyrics like an existentialist writer, and the stage like a circus performer. In recent years, he’s has toured across America opening for such diverse acts as Guided by Voices, Beth Orton, Cat Power, Donovan, Tegan and Sara, Ozomatli, Everlast, Exene Cervenka, Howie Day, Cracker, and Chuck Prophet amongst many others. From last.fm:

Although the Minneapolis group Vicious Vicious began as Erik Appelwick's moniker for his debut album recorded entirely on four-track, Blood and Clover, it soon grew into a full-blown live band when Darren Jackson, Alex Oana, and Martin Dosh climbed aboard. With the quartet hashing out arrangements of Appelwick's home recordings, they began making waves in Minneapolis, and the local press started to take notice, earning Appelwick a nomination for best rock recording by the Minnesota Music Academy in 2002. From last.fm:

Hometown: Minneapolis. The lineup: Zac, Matt, Adam, Shon and Adam. Let’s get this out of the way up top: no, Solid Gold is not a syndicated top 40 countdown show which aired from 1980 to 1988 featuring the Solid Gold Dancers. But I could see the Solid Gold Dancers doing a fine routine to a couple of Solid Gold’s numbers—maybe the slinky “Bible Thumper,” or the dreamier “Who You Gonna Run To?” Read more about Solid Gold on Last.fm.
