Joe Firstman is an American alternative rock artist who kicked off his career with an $18 cross-country Greyhound ticket from his home in North Carolina to Los Angeles. It all happened quickly: first came the big Hollywood gigs, then the industry buzz, then the big deal with Atlantic Records and national tours with big rock stars like Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Willie Nelson. Tony was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 23, 1976. Raised among a large music making family, he began singing and playing at the age of three. By age eight he began playing and writing with his cousin and life-long musical companion, Cole Garlak. Together they spent the better part of their school years learning classic rock cover tunes performing in garages and school cafeterias throughout Oakland county.
