Imagine stepping inside a new wave, discotheque arcade, where the boombox shocks, the disco ball drops, and the kick drum keeps the time. If “past is prologue” and the future is in bionics, SO IT GOES is now and tomorrow. This past September 2006, SO IT GOES released its first full-length record – HISTORIONICS – on its independent label Now Here This Records. The tracks were produced and recorded at Flowers Studio in Minneapolis. The Parlour Suite is a Minneapolis folk rock duo in the vein of The Mamas and the Papas, who they list as one of their major influences. They have a self released album called "Rainmaker" which includes the catchy sweet sounds of "Navy Queen". Minnepaolis's Metro Mag had this to say about the band, "The voices of husband-and-wife team Joel (guitar) and Inga (piano) Roberts and their close friend Leah Nelson (tambourine) melt together like butter as they harmonize, and whether it’s Joel’s tuneful hangdog rasp or Inga’s Dolly Parton-inspired cowgirl holler leading the way...
