Kanser are a hip hop trio from Minnesota, USA, comprised of MCs New MC and Unicus and DJ Elusive. They have made multiple albums. The debut album Network, released in 1998 and only released on cassete, contains productions by Mesh and A.N.T from Atmosphere. The second album is called Innercity Outerspace from 1999, the third Quintessential is from 2001, It Wrote It Self was released 2003 and in 2005 they released Self-Titled. Born in 1972 in Los Angeles, California, I Self Devine exists as a testament of survival. Raised in the brutal streets during the gang and government funded crack epidemic, he strived for understanding and deeper meaning to life's movement. His father, once a member of the Solidad Brothers, taught and exposed him to the underbelly of society.
