High on Stress is a four piece rock-n-roll band from the Twin Cities. They formed in July of 2003 and began crafting songs about broken relationships, small towns, and the cracked glass of daily life. Their debut album "Moonlight Girls" - recorded at OBT studios (Standard Thompson, Valet, Plastic Constellations, Accident Clearinghouse, etc.) in Champlin, MN - was released July 16, 2005. Dan Israel is a singer-songwriter currently based in Minneapolis. He won Song of the Year (for "Come to Me") at the 2005 Minnesota Music Awards. In the late '80s and early '90s, he was one-half of the folk duo One Town Horse in Chicago. In the mid '90s, he fronted the Austin, TX folk-rock group Potter's Field (where he was named one of Austin's top 15 songwriters). In 1996, he moved to Minneapolis, where he formed Dan Israel and the Cultivators, releasing several CDs, both solo and with the Cultivators. Dan Israel on Last.fm.
