The Reverend Horton Heat is both an American three-piece psychobilly band from Dallas, Texas, and the stage name of its singer/songwriter, Jim Heath (born in 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas). The group originally formed in 1985, playing its first gigs in Dallas's Deep Ellum neighborhood. Its current members are Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath on guitar and lead vocals, Jimbo Wallace on the upright bass, and Scott Churilla on drums. Nashville Pussy is an American hard rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1997. Their sound combines punk rock, Southern metal, boogie rock, psychobilly, speed metal, stoner rock and blues-rock. They are known for their shameless promotion of hard liquor, dirty sex, drugs and filthy rock 'n' roll. The band consists of Blaine Cartwright (of Nine Pound Hammer) on guitar/vocals, his wife Ruyter Suys on lead guitar, Jeremy Thompson on drums, and Karen Cuda on bass. Backyard Tire Fire is an American trio that formed in Asheville, NC in 2001. The band began in the fall of that year with founding members Ed Anderson (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Tim Kramp (drums, percussion). After encountering several line-up changes, the Tire Fire moved from Asheville to Athens, Georgia in 2002.
