Tapes ‘n Tapes is an band which formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States in 2003. The band consists of Josh Grier (vocals, guitar), Matt Kretzmann (keyboards, horns), Erik Appelwick (bass, vocals) and Jeremy Hanson (drums). The band has released three albums, "The Loon" (2005), "Walk It Off" (2008) and "Outside" (2011). Halloween, Alaska is a Minnesota-based band consisting of James Diers (voice, guitar), Ev (keyboards, voice, programming), Bill Shaw (electric bass guitar), and David King (acoustic and electronic drums). The group first formed in 2002, and work on a self-titled debut soon began to be recorded. Completed in 2003, two tracks from the disc were featured in the Fox television series The O.C.: "Des Moines" in season one, and "All the Arms Around You" in season two. Dosh grew up in the Twin Cities, Minneapolis, Minnesota. At a young age he also took piano lessons and then discovered FM radio in the early '80s. Dosh began drumming at age 15. By the time he left home for Simon's Rock College at age 16, he had decided music would likely be his profession, however, he subsequently got a degree in creative writing.
