Bloc Party are an English rock band. In 2005, the band released their critically acclaimed debut album Silent Alarm. Their second studio album, A Weekend In The City was released on February 5, 2007 in the United Kingdom and February 6 in the United States. A third album, Intimacy, was released in August 2008 as a download and later as a CD release on October 27. The band's fourth album, Four, was released on 20 August 2012. The band consists of Kele Okereke (vocals, guitar), Russell Lissack (guitar), Gordon Moakes (bass, vocals) and Matt Tong (drums). Read more about Bloc Party on Last.fm.

The Kills are an alternative rock duo formed by American vocalist Alison "VV" Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie "Hotel" Hince that rose to public recognition at the dawn of the hype surrounding the genre's explosion of the early 2000s. Mosshart had been in the Florida punk band Discount and Hince in British rock band Scarfo. When these groups disbanded, the duo, who first met when Mosshart heard Hince practicing in the hotel room above hers, struck up a songwriting partnership. Read more about The Kills on Last.fm.

Emma Louise Niblett (born 29 September 1973) is a British singer-songwriter, known by the pseudonym Scout Niblett, from Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom. Her music is frequently minimalist in style, many of her songs consisting merely of vocals accompanied by either drums or guitar, which she mostly plays herself. Niblett released her debut album in 2001 and released two more albums before 2005 when she settled in Portland, Oregon, where she currently resides.
