The Steamboat Kings are a folksy, neo-ragtime indie band from St. Paul with a vibrant, fun, floating-down-the-river sound. We've been playing together for over a year now, and are about to release our first full-length studio album. During a late-night self-indulgent conversation, we decided we should be described as a band with Bob Dylan+Elvis Costello lyricism, jazz-influenced bass, John Mayer Trio-influenced guitar, Mumford and Sons spirit, with a dash of She and Him charm.
