From last.fm:
Grant Hart is best known as the drummer (and singer and songwriter) in Hüsker Dü. Following the band's breakup, Hart released a solo album, Intolerance, on which he played most of the instruments himself. In the mid-90s, he formed the band Nova Mob, which released two albums before disbanding. Hart subsequently returned to his solo career. Much has been made of the volatile relationship Hart had with Husker Du guitarist Bob Mould and the band's acrimonious break-up with fans of the band spliting into two camps and searching for cutting remarks on the solo albums of both men. All The Pretty Horses

First show since since March 19, 2010 • First 501 Club show • 17th show on MN Live's calendar since August 31, 2007
From last.fm:
All the Pretty Horses is a dark glam/metal band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and fronted by transgendered lead singer Venus de Mars. The band has seen a varying lineup over its long history, perhaps most notably with fellow transgendered bandmates Tempest and Jendeen. The band briefly disbanded in 2006 so that each member could follow separate musical career paths. Venus De Mars pursued a solo career, releasing one album, Trashed and Broken Hearted. After a short stint with House of Flowers, Venus resumed performing with All The Pretty Horses, reuniting with former drummer Matt Bachelor. Read more about All the Pretty Horses on Last.fm.
