American Head Charge
From Minneapolis
First show on MN Live's calendar
From last.fm:
American Head Charge, the Minneapolis-based metal band, which had its genesis when Cameron Heacock and Chad Hanks crossed paths in a Minnesota rehab facility in 1997, has up to now been known primarily for the radically dysfunctional behavior of the band members. "We were definitely out of control on our first tour, Ozzfest 2001," Mr. Banks admits. "It wasn't enough to just play our music; we also had to fire shotguns on stage and throw pigheads at the crowd. Blue Felix
From Minneapolis
First show since since October 5, 2011 • Sixth show on MN Live's calendar since June 23, 2007
From last.fm:
Blue Felix is an all original 6-piece rock fusion power house. Since forming in Minneapolis in 2004 they have established themselves as one of the most visually explosive musical heavy weights on the scene today. To doubt that would mean one has not experienced Blue Felix live. Their rapidly growing popularity and their drive to constantly push forward will most certainly earn this band the recognition and respect they need to take them to the top. Throw the Fight
From Minneapolis
First show since since September 7, 2012 • 18th show on MN Live's calendar since July 29, 2006
From last.fm:
"Rock and roll is everything," says Throw The Fight's Ryan Baustert. "To us, there's nothing else." It's obvious by their aptly named full-length debut, In Pursuit of Tomorrow, that Baustert and his TTF collaborators have made the single-minded sacrifice to put it all on the line. It's a D.I.Y., take-no-prisoners, gritty plea to be heard, and a passionate pitch for massive audiences, all of which Throw The Fight utterly deserve. "At the end of the day," says singer James Clark, "we really feel with all the work we've put in and the music we make that we deserve this chance." Read more about Throw The Fight on Last.fm.

Gabriel and the Apocalypse
From Minneapolis
First show since since June 23, 2012 • First Mainroom show since October 30, 2010 • Sixth show on MN Live's calendar since July 3, 2008
From last.fm:
Minneapolis rockers Gabriel and the Apocalypse are fronted by female vocalist Lindy Gabriel and are armed and ready to bring down the Armageddon of rock. New ideas shake off the doldrums of lackluster, derivative music. “We want to have more of an edge to our music," says Lindy, "and try new ideas.” Gabriel and the Apocalypse eschew complacency in the world of mainstream convention, seeking instead to break the shackles of “present-day radio formulas” and show audiences what music can really do in the hands of finely honed talent.
