He has taken paths that run the gamut from a non-profit youth organization in North Minneapolis to work with war-affected children in Northern Uganda. As an artist, Wright's travels have taken him throughout the United States and Canada as support and hypeman for Brother Ali. Dissociate is the solo project of Minneapolis sound designer/dj/producer Jonathan Ford. Heavily influenced by a wide variety of electronic styles including trip hop, IDM and power noise, but also contains elements of tribal percussion and trance. Jonathan also plays guitar and lends production to the band Stellar Vector.......... In contrast with many electronic acts, Dissociate is designed with spontaneity and improvisation in mind.
