There is more than one band called The Fontanelles 1.The Fontanelles hail from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. Although they originally played a few shows and recorded in 1998-99, the band didn't begin in earnest until summer 2005. They have played tons of shows in London and South Yorkshire. Brian Laidlaw is a songwriter from San Francisco, & a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota MFA program in poetry. His newest album, called wolf wolf wolf, was written as a musical counterpart to his poetry thesis, & was produced by Brett Bullion (Zoo Animal, Haley Bonar, Dark Dark Dark).
