Me And My Arrow formed in 2007 as a collective made up of producers and musicians from the Minneapolis / St. Paul area, all of whom currently, or previously hail from other know Minneapolis bands such as It From Bit, Parts For All Makes, The Future, and Plastic Chord to name a few. In their short period as a band, they've shared the stage with national acts such as The Appleseed Cast, Film School, The Mae Shi, Jupiter One, Sera Cahoone (Sub Pop) and many more. James Apollo ( b. 1980) is a U.S. songwriter and musician. Apollo was born on 25th December 1980 in North-West Arkansas, and spent his formative years in Minneapolis, San Francisco, New York, and Tennessee. He currently lives and works in Silverton, Colorado, and New York City. He is best known for creating emotionally textured soundscapes, often including musical and lyrical references to William Faulkner, Tom Waits, and classic Americana of the Western U.S. His songs have been featured in a number of independent films, including the 2009 feature, Sun Dogs. Their debut record Idigaragua was an indie-rock opera performed with a full cast of actors and dancers that was written up nationally by Variety Magazine. While working on their follow-up record, Fort Wilson Riot amicably pared down to the duo of Amy & Jacob, joined, and toured with the band Ice Palace opening for Cloud Cult on there Fall Tour of 2009. Turning their house into a recording studio, Amy & Jacob worked by themselves and with trusted collaborators to write and record songs for Predator/Prey, as well as build up a body of new songs to be released in the future.
