From last.fm:

Ezra Furman is a singer and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. It is difficult to peg him as part of a single musical genre because he loves to experiment with different styles of songwriting. Suffice it to say that Ezra makes up songs and plays them on his acoustic guitar with ferocious energy and gut wrenching sincerity. From last.fm:

Brian Laidlaw is a songwriter from San Francisco, & a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota MFA program in poetry. His newest album, called wolf wolf wolf, was written as a musical counterpart to his poetry thesis, & was produced by Brett Bullion (Zoo Animal, Haley Bonar, Dark Dark Dark). Brian’s sound is a word-rich take on Americana, owing a stylistic debt to a long lineage of writers, romantics, nostalgics & drunks. Read more about Brian Laidlaw on Last.fm.
