From last.fm:
A bi-product of numerous, now-defunct bands around the Twin Cities, Chiefs Of The North have expertly melded each one of the member’s musical talents into a real-life rock and roll monster. What they bring to the table song after song is a wall of sound, rich with vintage undertones –thanks, no doubt, to guitarist Justin Collins’ bluesy, 70’s guitar-god sound- and a belly full of soul –accentuated by singer/guitar player Tony Metcalf’s clever lyrical prowess, and his ability to connect with the audience through his heart-felt, melodic delivery. First show since since November 26, 2011
From last.fm:
In 2011, the boys of Stereo Pirates found their port of call. Love of music drives each of them to bring their best to this band. Bryan Pertinen (vocals and guitar) has an arresting voice which rumbles over the words with a slight drawl of electrifying intensity. Jon Wefel takes the lead on guitar with expressive tones that amplify Bryan Pertinen’s rousing lyrics. The beat behind the operation, Jeremy Krueth (drums), enlivens the rest of the band members.
