From last.fm:

Tarlton is a product of nurture and nature. Maybe it had something to do with founder Brett Bullion hanging out with Minneapolis musicians like Martin Dosh and JT Bates. Or maybe it was something that came innately.   After the disbandment of Bullion’s first music project, Tiki Obmar, he formed Tarlton, a one-man band featuring synthetic loops and drumming. His debut project “Van” turned heads locally, but shortly after Bullion moved out west to Seattle. In the grey northwest, he wrote and recorded Tarlton’s second album: “The Papa Theses” EP. Previously known as Now, Now Every Children from Blaine, Minnesota. Threads – the second full-length release from Minneapolis based Now, Now – explores the fragile and often transitory nature of our existence, our perceived understanding of the world around us and relationships shared with others physically and emotionally. Produced by Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, An Horse, New Pornographers), Threads forms a sprawling sonic endeavor that showcases the bands incredible growth as songwriters and musicians.
