From last.fm:

"What is that instrument he's playing?" That's usually one of the first reactions to Nathan Miller. For the record it's an acoustic lap slide guitar. Its roots are from the 20s and 30s when Hawaiian music was all the rage. Today Nathan uses it for everything but Hawaiian music (maybe one day though). One listen and you wont care what instrument Nathan Miller is playing, but you will want more. Nathan Miller began playing guitar after hearing Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze” on a record his mother bought him when he was 12. Read more about Nathan Miller on Last.fm.

From last.fm:

Alicia Wiley is a rare talent with amazing command of the piano, her voice, and the art of songwriting. Whether she's playing an intimate solo set or pounding it out with her band, Alicia Wiley puts on a show that defies her years. Although she's gathering comparisons to the likes of Fiona Apple and Diana Krall, Alicia has a sound all her own. One moment she's banging out piano riffs that get jazz aficionados bopping their heads and the next, she's belting out choruses that leave pop music fans delighted.
