From last.fm:

The six song EP Orbital Amusement sonically delights with ray-gun and sputnik sounds, layered vocals and fuzzy pitch-bending guitars. While reminiscent of classics (Led Zeppelin I, Flash Gordon-era Queen), more modern sounds like that of The Black Keys, Wolfmother and Smashing Pumpkins abound on this heavy, lustful yet astral collection. With "Of Mind and Matter" (Eclectone Records) Little Man has combined the big hooks of classic Brit-Pop with something uniquely fresh. Read more about Little Man on Last.fm.

From last.fm:

It all started in the small town of Lyle, MN (pop. 500) with a skid loader and a fence post, when Six Mile Grove frontman Brandon Sampson was 7 years old. He injured his hand when helping his dad on the family farm. The physician recommended guitar playing for rehabilitation, and a few weeks later, Sampson came home from the music store with a new guitar. His younger brother Brian threw a fit, and was appeased with a shiny drum set. And so the seeds of Six Mile Grove were planted. Read more about Six Mile Grove on Last.fm.

From last.fm:

The 757s: Can you really record two albums worth of material just a week after forming a band? For the four members of Twin Cities-based The 757s, the answer is “yes.” The 757s departed from the norm by recording their debut album after their very first practice session—with no written songs or extensive rehearsals. “Our model quickly became writing songs in the 10 minutes prior to recording them,” says the band’s founder, Seth Zimmerman. “The idea was to put together a group of friends that could play and get along, which seemed reasonable at the time.” Read more about The 757s on Last.fm.
