Jamestown Story
From Minneapolis
First show on MN Live's calendar
From last.fm:
Formed in 2003 and previously known as 'And Then I Turned Seven', 'Jamestown Story' were a five piece acoustic, indie-rock band from Duluth, Minnesota. They had three releases together before 2008, by which time, each member had left the band to pursue other areas. The music lived on however, in the form of a solo acoustic project by frontman Dane Schmidt. Eventually, Dane was joined by Brandyn Anderson and that's how the line up has been since 2009. We Are the Willows
From Minneapolis
First show since since November 25, 2007 • First Varsity show • First show supporting a touring headliner • Third show on MN Live's calendar since May 13, 2007
From last.fm:
The usual sounds brought to mind at the sight of a cityscape are typically loud, harsh, and overbearing. Roaring bus engines, rumbling trains on their tracks, and buzzing markets and cafes all amplify the sounds of people coming and going. These sounds create a constant, yet ever changing hum - a tune that can provide limitless resources for creative minds, but can also pummel the creative spirit. It is from this constant hum that We Are The Willows' Peter Miller conceptualized the tonal sound-scapes of his debut full-length, A Collection Of Sounds And Something Like The Plague.
