Against Me! is a punk rock band originally from Naples, Florida, and later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. They are known for their heavily folk-influenced sound and energetic live shows (Spin named them one of the 25 greatest live bands in 2006). Their first full-length album, released on No Idea Records in 2002, was the highly-acclaimed Reinventing Axl Rose. In December 2005, they signed to Sire Records, and released their major label debut, New Wave, on July 10, 2007. June 4, 2010 saw the release of their fifth studio album, White Crosses. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are an indie/punk band, with roots in traditional rock. They formed while Leo was living in Washington, DC, but now have members based around the northeast United States. Leo came from Bloomfield, New Jersey. The band consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Ted Leo, guitarist James Canty, bassist Marty 'Violence' Key, and drummer Chris Wilson. After his previous band, Chisel, broke up in the late 1990s, Ted recorded the Tej Leo(?) Rx Pharmacists [sic] album in 1999, followed by the Treble in Trouble EP in 2000. Read more on Last.fm

future of the left is an alternative rock band formed in 2005 in Cardiff, Wales. The current line-up is Andrew Falkous (aka Falco) (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jimmy Watkins (guitar), Julia Ruzicka (bass) and Jack Egglestone (drums). Their signature style combines minimalist guitar or synth riffs with Falco's darkly satirical lyrics delivered with ferocious energy; but many songs also contain strong melodies, varied dynamics, time changes and vocal harmonies.
